Giulia L. Lima concentrates her practice in education law and labor and employment law, providing guidance to public Boards of Education throughout New Jersey. Giulia is dedicated to delivering tailored legal solutions with a client-centered approach and supports attorneys in managing various education-related matters, by conducting in-depth research, detail-oriented document preparation, and offering effective client support.

Since joining CLG, Giulia has worked extensively addressing critical issues faced by Boards of Education, including compliance, regulatory matters, and policy development. She has also contributed to resolving disputes involving labor relations and workplace regulations, helping clients navigate complex legal challenges.

Giulia earned her J.D., Magna Cum Laude, from Widener University Delaware Law School. During law school, Giulia served as the Pro Bono Chair for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, Vice President of Public Relations and DEI Representative for the Student Bar Association, Vice President of the Women’s Law Caucus and an active member of the  First-Generation Law Student Association and the Sports and Entertainment Society.

Giulia has gained diverse legal experience through various roles. She served as a Research Assistant to Professor James May, focusing on environmental and administrative law, and assisting the Professor in publishing 3 books. At the NJ Office of the Attorney General, Giulia worked as an extern for the  Community Affairs, State and Election Section advising clients on election statutes, horse racing regulations, and other state department issues. As an intern for the Treasury, Finance and Benefits Section, she assisted the Deputy Attorney Generals in drafting various legal documents regarding pensions and financial transactions.

Prior to law school, Giulia received her bachelor’s degree in international business with a concentration in marketing from Widener University. She has previously worked as a marketing manager for a local construction company and is still managing the company’s branding today.

Giulia is fluent in Portuguese as she was born in Brazil and enjoys traveling, and spending time with friends, family and her dog, Leo.
