Ambriana M. Wade
Ambriana M. Wade concentrates her practice in education law, representing public boards of education along with independent schools on a wide variety of legal issues, including advising clients on special education issues, employment issues, constitutional law, due process petitions, and administrative hearings.
Prior to joining Comegno Law Group, Ambriana worked as an attorney with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, where she handled a variety of issues related to discrimination based on disability, race/national origin, shared ancestry, sex, and gender.
While attending law school at Rutgers Camden, Ambriana served as a Legal Writing Fellow, a Marshall Brennan Fellow and Teaching Assistant, and was a finalist in the Hunter Moot Court competition. Additionally, she participated in the Rutgers Entrepreneurship Clinic, helping new entrepreneurs start their businesses.
Immediately after graduating with her Juris Doctorate, Ambriana completed a year-long judicial clerkship in Burlington County, serving with the Honorable Jeanne T. Covert (now retired), then Assignment Judge in the Burlington Vicinage. After completing that clerkship, Ambriana worked as an associate attorney at a Philadelphia law firm, where she primarily focused on representing insurance companies and self-insured corporations.
Prior to law school, Ambriana received her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She previously taught social studies at a High School in Delaware.
Ambriana is a member of the bars of the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the Philadelphia and New Jersey Bar Associations. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
